For the first time in over five years, there will be a second company offering individual medical coverage in North Carolina! Note: this is not a self funded association plan which does not have insurance backing the plan, it is a fully insured plan. The plan will be offered in limited distribution areas in North and South Carolina. This company has been a major player in western states and will now be accessible in NC.

The plan is going to be offered on or off the insurance exchange. People qualifying for a tax subsidy will have to buy coverage on the insurance exchange, others will buy off the exchange and will have the benefit of a broker to call if there is a problem.

The coverage will be on the market starting in early October with an effective date of 1/1/2021. The plan is fully compliant with the Affordable Care Act meaning all mandated benefit will be covered. Please contact me by email or phone for details.
